How to use the scripts

 

issue.php

This script can be used in a hyperlink and it will show to the user a single issue. The syntax of the hyperlink is as in this example:

http://localhost/bugee/issue.php?ID=25&prev=index.html

as you can see , this is a typical hyperlink. The GET values are , the ID that is the ID of the issue (this id you can find it inside the Bugee#@! client program as the ID field , or you can see this value inside the MYSQL issues table) and the prev is the page that the previous page button will load. If the prev is not set then the previous page button will not be visible .

knownbugs.php

This script can be used in a hyperlink and it will show to the user all the known bugs for a given program. The syntax of the hyperlink is as in this example:

http://localhost/bugee/knownbugs.php?app=Bugee&prev=index.html

as you can see , this is a typical hyperlink. The GET values are , the app that is the application name ( e.g Bugee. Note that you can set this value as bug% too  when the % means any characters ) and the prev is the page that the previous page button will load. If the prev is not set then the previous page button will not be visible .

submitform.php

This script can be used in a hyperlink and it will show to the user a form for reporting an issue.

http://localhost/bugee/submitform.php?prev=index.html&appl=Bugee

as you can see , this is a typical hyperlink. The GET values are , the appl that is the application name (e.g Bugee. Note that the name is case sensitive ) and the prev is the page that the previous page button will load. If the prev is not set then the previous page button will not be visible. Note that if the appl value is missing, then the form will have a list of all the applications in the database. See the following images.
